1984
The year of incorporation of Rajasthan Industrial Trading Co. Limited (Ritco). In 1984 Ritco was established for undertaking Travels and Tours related business activities.
1989
Wheels Rent A Car was established, expanding the Group’s travel portfolio with professional car rental services for corporate and individual customers.
1994
Transcorp was incorporated and received six Full-Fledged Money Changer licences from the Reserve Bank of India, marking its formal entry into forex services.
1997
Transcorp tied up with Western Union and secured an MTSS licence from the Reserve Bank of India to provide reliable inward money transfer services.
1998
Transcorp International Limited achieved a major corporate milestone by getting its shares listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, now known as BSE.
2002
Wheels Rent A Car and Ritco Travels became divisions of Transcorp International Limited, bringing the Group’s travel businesses under one company.
2010
Ritco Travels, Transcorp Estates and Wheels Rent A Car became wholly owned subsidiaries, strengthening the Group’s structure and business focus.
2014
Transcorp initiated domestic money transfer and insurance distribution services, expanding its portfolio of accessible financial solutions across India.
2015
Transcorp received the RBI’s Authorised Dealer Category II licence, enabling it to offer outward remittance and other permitted foreign exchange services.
2016
Transcorp received its PPI licence from the Reserve Bank of India, authorising the Company to issue and operate prepaid payment instruments across India.
2019
Transcorp launched its prepaid card, expanding its digital payment portfolio and offering customers a convenient, secure and flexible payment solution.
2022
Transcorp reached the milestone of issuing one million prepaid cards, reflecting growing customer trust and the expanding reach of its payment solutions.
2025
Transcorp achieved the landmark of five million prepaid cards issued, demonstrating significant growth and its strong presence in India’s prepaid ecosystem.
