1984
The year of incorporation of Rajasthan Industrial Trading Co. Limited (Ritco). In 1984 Ritco was established for undertaking Travels and Tours related business activities.
1989
Consequent upon change of name of Ritco it became Wheels International Limited and Ritco Travels and Wheels Rent A Car became division of Wheels International Limited. Wheels Rent A Car was India’s first company to offer self-driven cars for rentals in addition to chauffeur-driven services.
1994
Transcorp International Limited was incorporated as Forex division of Transport Corporation of India Limited (TCI) with six full-fledged money-changing (FFMC) licences from Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
1997
Transcorp International Limited received its MTSS License from Reserve Bank of India and became a principal-agent of Western Union and started providing inward remittance services.
1998
Consequent upon demerger of TCI, Transcorp International Limited came into separate existence and got its shares listed with the Bombay Stock exchange (BSE).
2002
Wheels International Limited got merged into Transcorp International Limited and consequent upon this merger Ritco Travels and Wheels Rent A Car became division of Transcorp International Limited.
2010
Transcorp International Limited under a corporate restructuring action created 2 wholly owned subsidiaries named Ritco Travels and Tours Private Limited and transferred its divisions named Ritco Travels and Wheels Rent A Car to this wholly owned subsidiary and created Transcorp Estates Private Limited as its another Wholly Owned Subsidiary and transferred some immovable properties and investment to the same.
2014
Transcorp’s team of experts initiated domestic money transfer and insurance (obtained corporate agency license from IRDA) with national partners to meet our customer demands.
2015
Transcorp received ADII licence from the RBI that allows Transcorp to transfer money abroad from India (outward remittance). In year 2015 only Transcorp International Limited became National Business Correspondent (National BC) of State Bank of India started establishing its Customer Service Points (CSPs)
2016
Transcorp received PPI License from RBI for authorising it for issuance and operation of prepaid payment instruments. Become the only Listed Company in India with AD-II and PPI License from RBI.
2019
Transcorp completed a monumental 25 years of trustworthy transactions.
2022
Transcorp reached a mark of 1 Million prepaid cards issued by it.
